Avakot.org account settings sync

Summary

Use avakot.org accounts to sync app settings/config across devices. Initial rollout gated to Patreon supporters — assess server/storage impact first.

Behavior

• Any manually-toggled setting saves both locally and to cloud when logged in.

• On login with same account: compare local vs cloud state.

  • Conflict detected → prompt user: keep Local (if local is different and older) or use Cloud (if cloud is newer).
  • User picks Cloud → enable auto-sync going forward (cloud icon in topbar turns green).
  • User picks Local / declines sync → cloud icon shows red/crossed, no auto-sync.

Goal

Preserve user's app identity/customization across devices via account, without forcing sync.

Notes

Depends on / pairs with the theme-config rewrite (shareable profiles need a sync backbone). Details on conflict-resolution UX and storage limits TBD — needs server/storage impact assessment before scoping further.
