Make screen edges clickable to improve UI (Fitts Law)
Most software lets you move your mouse to the very edge of the screen to click UI elements that are drawn along the side of the window. This makes it quicker to click buttons because the user doesn't need to precisely land on the button. It would be nice to support this in LG, the main items that don't support this when maximised are the close button which can't be clicked from the screen corner (at least in Windows 11) and the navigation bar buttons which are not clickable from the left screen edge.
From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fitts%27s_law#Implications_for_UI_design
"Placing layout elements on the four edges of the screen allows for infinitely large targets in one dimension and therefore presents ideal scenarios. Since the pointer will always stop at the edge, the user can move the mouse with the greatest possible speed and still hit the target. The target area is effectively infinitely long along the movement axis. Therefore, this guideline is called “Rule of the infinite edges”. "
